The title refers to how long it had been since I had posted anything here. It's time to end the drought and breathe some new life here and spend less time on Facebook. While I appreciate the vast quantity of information that can be shared on Facebook, I've come to believe that my hemp activism on Facebook has not been as effective as I'd like, and it's distracted me a bit from further developing the vision of what I would like hempforhumanity.org and to become.
Since I last posted here my hempen trail has led me from Asheville, NC to Seattle, WA to Manitoba, Canada to San Francisco, CA and back to Flagstaff, AZ. The journey has been an amazing one for me and I'm grateful for all the experiences I had and for all the support I've received along the way.
In the days ahead I will be posting more on the journey, the ongoing evolution of Hemp for Humanity, and my current involvement volunteering for this year's Hemp History Week, a national event sponsored by some of the leading hemp organizations and businesses in the United States and Canada. I encourage everyone to visit the Hemp History Week, to learn more about it, and to participate in planning events in their local communities.
In the meantime, I hope you will visit this link for an article I wrote about lessons I learned in DC while lobbying for hemp.
In Solidarity for a Hempful Future-
